Artist's Statement
I have always loved a good story, and I find that all art, whether visual, oral, aural, or written, has a tale to tell. I like to think of a painting in terms of poetry, or a story interrupted, and will often incorporate text into my images. The shape and flow of the words are often as important as the image itself to me.

Sometimes my art reflects “true” stories, incorporating images inspired from old, found photographs. Sometimes the images are wholly invented and fantastic. I always imagine a story behind them.
